MOTM March 2019: Cecilia_L

Post by bookowlie »

Drumroll please! I am pleased to announce the March 2019 Member of the Month is…Cecilia_L! She has been an enthusiastic OBC member since June 2018. In addition to writing insightful reviews, Cecilia_L regularly supports other reviewers through her comments. She can also be counted on for advice and pertinent information, particularly regarding Review Team matters. In particular, Cecilia_L’s contributions to the scorecard and grammar discussions have been very helpful. Her daily participation in various forums on the site should be commended. Please join me in a hearty round of applause for Cecilia_L!

I believe Cecilia_L is the most prolific reviewer on this site. Does the lady ever sleep?

Congratulations, Cecilia! I know we are both crime thriller fans. While you rarely find a namesake, I have many friends called "Cecilia." It's a popular name in my country, although it apparently means "blind." That you definitely aren't.

Enjoy your reign, booklover! :reading-4:

Miriam, your post made me smile. I will confess that I often read when I CAN'T sleep. :lol2:
It's always nice to connect with a fellow crime thriller fan.
I've read both "blind" and "musical" as meanings for my name. Unfortunately, I'm not musical either.
Thank you!

I agree with Miriam in more aspects than just one. I don't know how you do it. (The genre is an exception; I don't mind being the odd one on that for now. It's not your fault, though, so no worries.)

Without further ado, I now bow and humbly pass on the baton to you. May you wield it way, way, and way better than I've done. Of course, that is if I've really done any. I hope I did. :lol2:

The honor is well deserved. :) It is a long-standing tradition for the Member of the Month to wear something on their head during their reign. You can choose a seasonal head covering (a crown of shamrocks, a bunny hat) or basically anything your heart desires!
