LV2R wrote: 06 Feb 2019, 07:22 Congratulations Espie! Surely, most of the members have seen some of your posts and comments by now. You have commented on many of my reviews as well as many others. Thanks for your support! Good job. You have shown great enthusiasm in this book review club.
It's good to interact with fellow members here. I've also had help when I need such most, so it's great to know that I'm also able to share around the positivity from such gesture. As always, there are better things and a brighter future ahead; we can work together towards achieving those. I'm sure that there are more of us here who deserve this accolade as well (though we can have only one mentioned in a month, of course); thus, a salute to you and all of the others who are making our club better each day, too. Thank you, LV2R.

Wow! The day you've joined the club, 29 November, is my youngest son's birthday. What a coincidence!

Thank you so much for the kind words.

To be honest, I have never really expected to have this accolade when I joined the club exactly nine months and three days ago. I didn't even know that the MOTM award existed; I just found out that it started in 2015. Initiatives like this are great, though, and should be continued.

Regarding the parameters for MOTM selection, this was what I found out days after my award was announced: viewtopic.php?f=75&t=30015.

As they say and I'm always very much inclined to quote: "nothing is impossible."

All the best and kind regards. :tiphat:

Hi, Connie.

I know I may have already said this so many times before, but I've got another urge to say it again. "Give credit where such is due" is a talk I have to walk. I've always been impressed with your reviews, especially the most recent ones.

Thank you so much for the kind words and for all that you do. :tiphat:

Having all of you in our two groups and here in the club had been a worthwhile experience. :bookclub-square:

Being with good as well as professional people who know what's right and are always willing to help others had been a privilege. Thus, thank you. :tiphat:

Hi, Eva. I've got to say that my immediate predecessor's example is a tough act to beat. However, I'll try and give it a go. Thank you so much! :tiphat:

I may be a bit late in responding, but please know that your kind gesture was and still is much appreciated. I may not have replied immediately after I've read your post days ago, yet it's because I became suddenly busy doing a lot of long-delayed yet quite-important items on my list. I was already feeling a bit overwhelmed, and then your burst of sunshine shone through. Your random act of kindness came at the right time. Thus, to cut this long-winded discourse short, allow me now to utter a fitting "Thank You!"
