Commas and Coordinating Conjunctions (Full Guide with Examples and Sources)

Some grammar rules (and embarrassing mistakes!) transcend the uniqueness of different regions and style guides. This new International Grammar section by OnlineBookClub.org ultimately identifies those rules thus providing a simple, flexible rule-set, respecting the differences between regions and style guides. You can feel free to ask general questions about spelling and grammar. You can also provide example sentences for other members to proofread and inform you of any grammar mistakes.

I did not think I needed help with my grammar, especially the comma, until I started writing book reviews. When I look for online help with commas, usually the comments are vague about their usage. Thank you for this information I desperately needed!

Most helpful! I have been losing my touch in grammar quite recently, or so my friends tell me, which I find gross.

Thanks a lot! And I can see my friends — the coordinating conjunctions — around the corner; FANBOYS is what we call them. :D

Great. I have actually lost points because of these commas.
