I cooked some Manwich sloppy joes for dinner. Added an onion to the mix and it was delicious. MMM Manwich! :D

I'm happy this thread is back!

Plus my oldest friend Dobs came over for a coffee today. I don't get to see him very often, so it's always a joy when I do.

Since we found the old thread, I thought I'd better reply to your posts...

Yes, I did say yes to the date. He's a nice guy, fun, intelligent and HAWT!

Dunno when it's happening to be exact though - he has equal custody of his three small children so he has to find out when he has them.

(See, that's what you get when you're over 30 and dating - family issues etc)

I've had a very mellow day today. I'm still enjoying the shopping I did yesterday, new dress (perfect for a date) and a pretty top.

I was happy today because it was a beautiful day for me to go outside and read. I took a blanket out behind my dorm and laid outside reading for a while. I hated that I had to come back inside to watch TV, but I have a paper due on Monday and my research is a survey I'm doing about TV shows. I guess that's what I get for taking a class titled Critical Analysis of Television. Then again, I'm also enrolled in a course titled Critical Analysis of Literary Studies. I guess then even each other out.

Oh, I was also happy today because I got to have spaghetti for dinner. My favorite!

Sounds like absolute bliss!! The day out reading, not the paper!

I had to give a presentation at work today, and it all went well. Woohoo!

Well ... I have only one more final to take and then its summer vacation for me! The next four months will consist of lounging by the pool, reading and painting ... such bliss =) I will just pretend like I won't be working the other 40 hours a week, haha.
