I feel like I'm the kind of person that would love them, but I haven't gotten into any yet, so thanks for the recommendations!

I've watched a bunch, I wouldn't call myself a super fan or anything though.
Some of my most recent ones are:
*AnOther
*Free!
*Diabolik Lovers
*Uta No Prince Sama

I enjoy some anime, but I'm extremely particular about which series I watch. These are my favorites:

Death Note
Paranoia Agent
Samurai Champloo
Cowboy Bebop

I do and really enjoy Miyazaki's works. Some works I would recommend - if you haven't seen them yet - would be:
Millennium Actress
Paranoia Agent (same creator as Millennium Actress)
Eureka 7
Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in the Shell: SAC 1 & 2
R.O.D. (the first series)
Inuyasha
Trinity Blood
Ninja Scroll
Akira
Princess Mononoke
Porco Rosso
Samurai Champloo
Bleach
Monster Rancher
Red Baron (a good show but is hard to find)
SnK aka Attack on Titan
MAR
Transformers (classic and some new)
Voltron (classic)
GI Joe Sigma 6 (this installment I think was an import)
YuGiOh! (the first series)
Mon Colie Knights (difficult to find)
Escaflowne
Flint the Time Detective
Naruto

I'm pretty sure there are more but these are the ones I can remember.

I like Studio Ghibli films very much. But other than those I don't watch anime very much these days. I remember almost 10 years ago I watched Death Note.
