Hints: money is part of me along with other precious values.
If you pass @Gravy's sharks , you can find me in the ocean too even if I'm not aquatic, @Lunastella, and seashell can also be part of who I am.

What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

I am always hungry.
I can't be seen, but you'll know when I'm there.
Nothing ever escapes once I have hold.
I only come in one color.
What am I?
What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

I just got lucky. That was actually a very good riddle - good clues too. When I first looked at it I didn't have any idea what it was.
OK, new riddle.
I am something everyone hopes to have.
But when I arrive people wish that I hadn't.
Most people respect those who have me.
But will not accept what I have to offer if those who have it offered to trade.
What am I ?

My parents are mostly German.
I'm very powerful and unite a lot of people but many have wanted to change me, including President Teddy Roosevelt.
