Is this a common creature of the sea, @Gravy? It seems that the answer is more like a particular knowledge.

None of the above :(
(I feel like I should apologize!)

Very common. And very well known (one above all others). I'm completely flabbergasted that nobody has even said *specific species* which I would completely take as getting it.

I can provide a few hints that should absolutely give it away?
Pronouns: She/Her

What is grief, if not love persevering?

Grief is just love with no place to go.

No worries, @Gravy. Your intriguing riddle kept my mind more active than I thought it can be 😂.

Yes, perhaps a few more hints will elucidate the mystery. I can't wait to see what is it.

But I will try the biggest creature that comes to mind and it can be the size of a bus - a shark (maybe there is a species that sometimes walk too 🙊)

YES! YES! YES!
Shark is what we were looking for!

To explain the various hints:

I am aquatic:
Obvious.

I sometimes walk:
The epaulette shark will "walk" between puddles at low tide.

I could, sometimes, be called a parasite:
The cookie cutter shark could be called a parasitic species. It's very small and lives in the deep ocean. It comes to the surface at night and takes bites out of much larger animals. The scars from their bites can be found on everything from whales and dolphins, to tuna.

My skin is always sharp:
Shark skin is covered in denticles.

When I'm gone, not much is left to find:
Shark skeletons are mostly cartilaginous. The jaw bone and teeth being the exception.

As for the size of a bus...
The whale shark is around 40 feet on average!

@InStoree

CONGRATULATIONS InStoree !!!!!

"SHARK" had occurred to me but I didn't know that it fit all of the clues.

Good riddle. A real challenge!

Thank you, @DATo! 🙂 I wasn't sure either. I just couldn't imagine a shark walking. My favorite is the hammerhead shark. It's hilarious! Why doesn't he swim in the direction of his sights? 😁

Pfff... :roll2: :liar: Thanks, @Lunastella! 🤗

Merci, @Nerea! Yes, please, let's have a glass of wine :wine:... A shark...🤐

Guys, please accept my apologies :tiphat:. I completely forgot that it's my turn 😶

I can be found on a map
But I actually live where you put me.
Sometimes, you have to work hard to get to me
But if you're lucky, you can stumble upon me even on a beach, for example.

What am I?
