I think my computer is getting ready to take a dump. Its been acting kind of twonky the last while, its kind of old Ive had it for about 10 years. This electronic stuff anymore sure dosent last long, planned obsolescence I think they call it. Everything is throwaway nowdays, if it breaks dont fix it throw it away and get a new one. More money for the robber barons.

Sleep is late in visiting

I spent a night in the hospital. I got food poisoning from some tacos at a town dinner and got sicker and sicker and finally I had a friend run me up to the ER. They pumped me out and gave me various assortments of shots in the butt and I got cleaned out real good from both ends. They kept me all night for observation on a hard short narrow rock-hard bed and in the morning they gave me jello and tea and juice and an anti-throwup shot and I seemed to be okay. The Dr. after a short lecture about the garbage foods I eat put me on this strict diet. No beef, no dairy products, no wheat products, no oil or grease, no flour tortillas only corn tortillas, no coffee, no shrimp tacos, no beer, no before bedtime drink of whiskey and sour and other things I dont remember. I dont think I will have much trouble sticking to that except for the coffee. Im 80 years old and have had morning coffee for about 65 of those years and Ill be damned if I give up a tradition like that.

My thoughts exactly when I was reading that - most of it, I thought, yeah, OK. But when I came to coffee, I thought: "Nope!" Hope you're feeling better now.
