Picking up the pieces

Post by April Ruvs »

Pick up the pieces, never let them witness this brokenness, and fear he elicits, cover them from the situations that rob their innocence, from their angelic hearts, show them resilience, never Utter an ill word, don't teach them to hate.
Forgive yourself for the moments of weakness, let the well of your eyes run dry, thus healing awaits the next rainfall.
Pieces can be reunited by the intricate markings of the drive to go on, shimmering nomore the pools of pain but of joy surpassing the dagger he took to your heart and the scars he painted on your skin.

Broken hearts are painful and I like what you did here.
