Death Come Swiftly
so that I may rest
I'm weary of fighting
I must confess
A peaceful surrender
So please don't cry
but I'm no longer willing
or wanting to try
The pain is unbearable
and I'm tired of tests
Death come swiftly
so that I may rest
I've fought my battle
as best I can
Now I'm ready to grasp
my Father's hand
I know in your eyes
it doesn't seem fair
but I'm going to heaven
I'll wait for you there
I'm ready to go
don't think of me less
Death come swiftly
so that I may rest
