50-word horror story

Post by Abraham Joy »

Okay. I saw this theme somewhere, and thought to engage our creativity here. Below is my own 50-word horror.

I always spend my leave with my grandpa in his magnificent country house. Now, I an sketching the old man who is relaxing in a cane chair, few feet from me. My phone beeps with a message from my dad.

'Been tryna reach you. My Pa died three nights ago.'

Nice! I really like the idea of super short horror stories. This is a great example. It entirely swings on the last 6 words!

I like it! It's not easy writing a horror story in so few words!
