Other books with Corey and Andi?

Post by Scott »

I know Meg Kimball, the author of the March book of the month Forever Twelve, has written other books. I get the impression that some of them also feature Corey or Andi or both. I'm not sure whether it is a 'series' per se, but I do think the same characters are used.

We did this book for my real life book club as well, and we were wondering the same thing at that time.

I know Meg Kimball is actually a poster here. Perhaps she can enlighten us about her other books and their relationship to this one.

OK. Hi Scott, how's it going?

Every time I write four books, I combine them in one volume, the first being Forever Twelve. Forever Twelve contains, in order and verbatim:

Corey to the Rescue! (The Advice Avengers, Volume 1)
Corey Saves the Day! (The Advice Avengers, Volume 2)
Andi Has the Answers! (The Advice Avengers, Volume 3)
Corey Takes a Leap! (The Advice Avengers, Volume 4)

I have them singularly released for younger readers who want a set. Plus, they just look really cute as individual paperbacks!

The only difference is that the individual releases have numbered (but not named) chapters. In the combined, I just use section dividers rather than chapters. The text is the same.

If you have read Forever Twelve, then you have read everything I've published to this point--the abovementioned four volumes.

That said, I am currently working on a full, four-part sequel. It will feature:

Andi Makes a Wish! (The Advice Avengers, Volume 5)
Corey Tells a Story! (The Advice Avengers, Volume 6)
... and two more (as yet unnamed and unwritten) volumes. (I've just started writing #6.)

I intend to release them all at the same time--volumes 5-8 and a combined edition akin to Forever Twelve. I'm shooting for Dec 2015--Feb 2016, or thereabouts.

Thanks for asking!! :character-grover:

Good. Then can you explain it to me? I'm confused. ;)

I went ahead and made volumes 5 + 6 available for pre-order!

Andi Makes a Wish! The Advice Avengers, volume 5
Corey Tells a Story! The Advice Avengers, volume 6

Coming soon to a Kindle near you. (Paperback too, but you can't pre-release paperbacks, apparently.)

(Again, they'll also be available in a compiled 4-part edition, once I've penned #'s 7 and 8, in a sequel to Forever Twelve, similar in size and stature.)

Further update: I don't see Nook or Smashwords, etc., editions happening at this point, unless I seek out professional help. (You know, of the book-formatting variety.) Sorry for the inconvenience!

Let's get this party started. :ugeek:
