A retelling of the author's life through poems? I'm up for it! It's creative and at the same time thought-provoking. Kudos to the author!

Sounds interesting! By your review I can suppose that the poems are a bit metaphysicians and spiritual. I may take a look of this book in the future, poetry can surprise you many times with great passages, and this one looks like that.

The Golden Window by Steven C. Brandt is a collection of poems which shared some real life experiences. I don't like to read poems. So I think I will skip this one. Congratulations on #botd.

Finally! Another poetry book in book of the day! This one sounds like a breath of fresh air--something completely beautiful and unique. I love when an author meaningfully and carefully crafts poetry in a way that encourages the reader to really think about what they're reading. It can be fun to dissect poems like this. It's also really nice that the author offers some variation in the way that the poems are written. It keeps things interesting. I especially like that he uses the poems to creatively tell his life's story.
This seems like a pleasant, afternoon read. Thank you for choosing to review and share this book with us! I really think I'm going to enjoy it.

I have also read this book, although I didn't realize it until I read the beginning of the first poem. I immediately smiled when I realized what book it was. You're absolutely right with the 4 out of 4. It is a beautifully written book of poetry. If I had to choose one word to describe it, it would be poignant. I greatly enjoyed reading your review of the book.

I like when the themes in a poetry collection are sometimes obvious and sometimes cleverly disguised. One should be made to think, right? The methodical nature of presentation, down to formatting style for different poems lends credence to poetry as an art form. Thanks for the review.

There is no better way than an honest poetry to take the readers on a journey through the personal experiences and feelings of the author. It seems the author has done an amazing work in this book. Congrats on BOTD!
