Ian Prattis' Painting with Words: Poetry for a New Era is a collection of thought-provoking essays and poems reflecting on nature, love, ancient wisdom, society, war and our fragile planet. Many of these poems reflect various aspects of the author’s life and his Buddhist lifestyle and interpretation.

It's good to know that this book is exceptionally well edited. Thanks for the review.

Congratulations on BOTD. This really does sound like a good collection of poems. I still have yet to read one, but I am thinking of starting with this one. It sounds like the author is being real in his writing. I love books that have me on an emotional rollercoaster.

I like the fact that the author adds information and explanations about context and his Muse and such. I still have a hard time appreciating poetry, though. Thanks for the review!

This is a good case of a poet seeking solace from writing poetry. I enjoyed reading the concerns and joy of the poet expressed through his lovely poems. Thanks for the insightful review.

It sounds as if you’ve found a new favourite poet! I like the fact he’s written a short introduction at the beginning of each section. It makes writers and poets seem closer to us and more human, somehow.

The book sounds very interesting and captivating. Though I am not much interested in poetry. Great review.

A collection of poems representing the Buddhist lifestyle and interpretation? Must be interesting. A well-written review without overselling the content.

I didn't enjoy the sample. It only had one poem. I wish I could read some more before I gave out any input.
But the path I’ve chosen has always been the right one, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. :)
