I am not really a big fan of poems, but I think this one had it own uniqueness. The author's creativity was unique. Any one who would love to share in this masterpiece, check this book out.

I read the sample and wish to finish this book because I adore the poetic style of writing it uses. The review does an excellent job of explaining the novel.

This book explicates core issues that enslave us in our low moments. Like a caged bird wanting to free itself, we are. But it demonstrates how these shackles can tame us. I enjoyed reading the book.

Poems are ways to express deep thought in written form. I like that some of the poems touch on real life issues.

I read a few poems from this collection which were very poignant and stirring and showed how much we have suffered and continue to suffer because of discrimination and racism.

It's a poetry book on life experiences. The author shares deep thoughts in simple, clear words and pulls back the curtains on her past, present, and future to let the sunlight pour in. Let's read this book and enjoy it.

I'm a lover of poetry even though I'm always being careful of reading poems because some poets have lost the simplicity of poetry to ambiguous use of words, but I'm happy that this book hasn't lost its simplicity. I love this review. Congratulations on BOTD

A wonderful piece. The author did an amazing job creating poems that speak on diverse critical topics such as slavery, racism and so many others. She also used the medium to share her view of life. It is really intriguing.

I also love poems, but especially when they are written in clear and simple words. I like that that the poems in this book also encourage the reader to think deeply. I look forward to reading it. Thank you for your detailed review and recommendation.
