Human beings always look for excuses and convenience that suit them. They forsook God's ordinance and law. Blaming the Christian faith for hatred on homosexual is wrong. I am not interested to read this book. Thanks for your review.

That statement is spot on. Indeed, the title reflects the truth, then violence and hate crime are merely the symptoms of humanity, not God.

LGBTQ issues are extremely relevant ones. I would not be evaluate the poems in context of the Bible as I am not a Christian. I do agree with your observation about monotheist religions and firmly believe that each religion must be open to investigation and discussion about any issues that propagate biases. I would love reading this book.

I agree that the message of this work sounds wonderful, but perhaps the way the author brings that message could be improved. Perhaps he should have focused a little on other beliefs as well? Thanks for this insightful review!

I agree with your sentinment reagarding violence coming from the Bible. It just sounds like an excuse when people should be accountable for their own actions.
