Heather's poetry was a delightful experience. I hope you get the chance to meet her and her plants, at least those that survived.

This combination of dead plants and the Bible reminded me of the Rose of Jericho, which looks dead but blooms when you water it! Loving the metaphor of never giving up on life's "dead plants".

Thanks for introducing me to the rose of Jericho. Curiously, it's also called Maryam's flower, almost a namesake! Does this mean what I think it does?
