Historical fiction interests me, so this one caught my attention right away. Most of what we know about the Vietnam War deals with the soldiers on the ground. This book, from the perspective of the sailors in the Navy, looks amazing. I loved your review, and am looking forward to reading this book. Thanks for the thoughtful review of this book.

It's tragic how the returning soldiers were treated by our government. Thanks to this review, I plan to read Deadly Waters to find out more about the story.

Thank you for the concise review. It has brought great interest beyond the title of what's in the stories. It sounds almost real and I wouldn't doubt that the men who served experienced similar situations.

Excellent review. I love historical fiction but mostly read books centered around WWII. My dad was in Vietnam and sadly I don't know much about the conflict my own father was involved in. I think I'll give this one a read!

I just finished a historical fiction novel about WWII, I’m intrigued by this genre. I feel like the Vietnam War had such an impact on those who served and I really like the attention novels like this bring to the subject. Thank you for the review!

IN relation to this book 'Deadly waters' we are brought to meeting this character Zachariah and truly i find him as of great personality that at a point goes to matching his efforts in work.

I've read so many war stories, this is one of the best I've ever read! Thanks for reviewing it honestly! I can confirm that it reflects a true picture of the book!

Thanks for the reccommendation. Martin sounds like a very brave character. At the age of 17 already decides to participate in the Vietnam war and leave his high school studies.

When we were in Vietnam for a week Tour part of that was to learn what happened to their country and to their People during the war. We had seen a lot of pictures related to war. And It was painful. Our Tour guide had said, "I wish there would be no War anymore." Because no one Won, only Pain and Lost of Life. Collateral damage is a Selfish thought."

Thank you for the great well explained review, it got me interested in the story... Realistic stories are good if written well... As you mentioned it has a bit humour so i guess that helps the readers to not to be drown in sadness...
