After having read some of the book and reading this review, I would like to read more of it. I would prefer to start with book 1 in the series, to get to know the characters better. I like the action part of it and the fact that it is historical fiction.

Originally I wasn't interested in this book's predecessor, but after reading your review for The Noble Mercenary I will rethink my interpretation on this series. It sounds like it would be fun to read and the changes between timelines would work too.

A wonderful fantasy and a historical fiction novel. Quite a nice mix so, when you add the adventure and the action it's definitely a book I can read. It's free on Amazon Kindle and am looking forward to reading it. Thanks for the great review.

Sounds like a unique, detailed story that will have readers hanging on every page, eagerly awaiting the next book by the time they finish this one. Great review!

A slow-paced adventurous historical fiction is not my personal choice. I will pass on this one. Thanks for the review!

I like the oxymoron in the title; it gives much to mull over. A story about semi-immortal, never-aging defenders of the people, laced with significant historical snippets of events, and a moral as well as romantic dilemma to boot sounds like exciting fun! Can't wait to check it out. Thanks for sharing.

The story is very interesting. It seems the author took his time to create and develop this one. I would wonder what could happen in reality. Very imaginative indeed. Good review.

"The Noble Mercenary" sounds like a book I would be will to read and will in the near future. Historical fiction usually do not catch my eye, but after reading this review, the plot shows some promise to wanting to give it a read. The cover of the book tells a story of magical legends and just looking at it does not imply historical fiction, but is what I see. I just that old cliche' "you can't judge a book by it's cover."

Honestly I am torn when it comes to this book, I just don't know if I am interested or not. It had a Da Vinci Code feel to it from the review which I really liked so that is interesting me. I just am not a big fan of romance or historical fiction so I am not sure if I would like this book or not.

It's encouraging that you enjoyed reading the book. Unfortunately, some themes featured in the book are too heavy for me to stand them. I'll pass the book. I appreciate your kind review.

I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that the suspense doesn't end at the end of this book, or that there's romance involved. However, I'm willing to give this one a try. Thanks for the review :D

I like the way the "millennials," Ian, Jacques, Serena and Desiree, use their talent to defend all peoples. For example as French Knights one of their task is to stop an underground group from dominating the world. Thanks for an enjoyable review.

The book sounds really interesting. A historical fiction about the adventures of semi-immortal beings is quite new and unique indeed. Thanks for the review.
