The combination of Vietnam history with the story of a young couple moving into adulthood is irresistible for me. I ordered it and will review it.

This book is absolutely an interesting one.Freda gives us a lot of info about the Vietnam war .But this book is not readable for young ones due to its sex scenes. For a mature reader I will definitely recommend this novel who loves both adventure and romance.

Sounds good but I'm not really into the romantic stuff at the moment. It seems to be very enticing though. Happy reading

Thank you for your wonderful review :) This sounds like a book I could definitely get into, although I'm a bit disappointed that James never had to deal with the consequences of his actions. I love the authenticity in detail that the author has gone to.

A Police Action
by A. A. Freda

After reading the information provided on Amazon, I was on the fence whether I wanted to purchase the book. In the beginning, Coppi takes advantage of people, exploiting high interest on money borrowed. People, yes, even in books, that do this really anger me. The last paragraph of the office review made up my mind that this book is not for me. Congratulations on BOTD.

It's great that the author uses the personal experiences he got from being in the Vietnam War in his book. I think that's amazing. Great review.

Stories about the Vietnam War are so heart-wrenching. This one in particular sounds interesting because of the focus on the characters as well as the war. I also appreciate the attention to the little details. Thanks for the great review!

I am happy that you mention the sex scenes and abortion. I do like war novels but am not really interested in the extras with this one.

Initially, I wasn't really interested in this book, but the review has changed my mind. Knowing that this book follows two different points of view and makes realistic connections to the Vietnam War makes this book more appealing to me.

A Police Action by AA Freda, a story about the relationship between James and Samantha. I liked the part where Samantha starts out as a teenager in rebellion against her father. Women are smart and strong enough to do anything. Want to know about Sam more. I will definitely read the book.

Coming of age historical fiction? Pass for me. The genre is just not my cup of tea. This is going in the nope pile.

After reading the sample, I was torn between wanting to read the rest or not. After reading your great review, I think I will pass.

I like that you mention there is a lot of character development in the story. That's always so important, to see characters coming into their own. I don't normally read historical/war stories, though, and after seeing that the topic of abortion is brought up, I may just have to steer clear altogether. Thanks, though, for a really good review.

A Police Action by A. A. Freda is a #HistoricalFiction set during the #Vietnam #War era. It revolves around Samantha Powers and James Coppi's #Love, #Romance, and #ComingOfAge. Samantha is pregnant with someone else’s child while James is heading for a war in Vietnam. Will their love story have a happy ending? Let's read to find out.

Quite an intriguing tale of war and love. The character development is creative.
