This sounds like an interesting mystery story especially due to the fact that it is based on a true story. The history portion I hope would enable an outsider to have an insight into the Mormon world.

It literally relates the norms and mores of the early nineteen hundreds--- how people resolve and react to heinous crimes. There is a thin line between Life and Death while our only choice is fear or FAITH. :angelic-cyan:
Lol, the CatInTheHat is a "she." I do appreciate that you enjoyed my review.

However, because it is a fictional tale (even though it is based upon an historical event), the reader should be wary of exactly what facts can be learned about any part of the events or environment discussed. Who knows how far the author took a license to create intrigue through interpretations of culture and the magic of storytelling?
The details of the case are supported by factual information.
And you know this how?

I liked to read this one. I love stories where dialogue is a lot of the story.

The title strikes my attention. Four shots. Does it mean that someone murders with four shots? Who is killed?

A sequential story told from a third party perspective. Then the protagonist is introduced before she comes into the picture. Family issues can be complicated and full of feuds.

Personally, I feel that it is a tragedy that nobody expected to happen.
