While I’m not a fan of historical fiction myself, this book sounds very well done, and should be of great interest to those who do enjoy the genre. Thanks for the insightful review! :)

This seems like it would be a really great, action packed book for those who are big fans of the genre. As I am not, it won't be something I plan to read. But, if ever I was to read a book of this genre I would probably want something action packed.

The adventures of the characters in Egypt, the humor and the music are things I will like to read. Thanks for the review.

Interesting. I sure love to read a lot about wars, especially those involving strategies, team work and more. James and Jack seem to be two amazing characters. Thanks for the review!

I like stories about the military. Quite unfortunate the stories are also accompanied by war stories.

Greg did a great job creating imaginary scenes in the reader's mind with the help of James and Jack.

Well developed story and educative as well.

This is a well-written review that highlighted all the best aspects of the book and justified the 4 out of 4 stars rating.

Egypt during this time period has always brought to mind mystery and intrigue. Your well written review makes me want to dive right in. Thanks for giving me another entry to my book shelf.

I feel like historical fictions are the most intriguing because they tie real events to the characters to make them seem more realistic. This type of book is difficult to make convincing unless the writer has a vast knowledge of the topic. I am definitely more interested in The Warramunga's War now that I know it is well written. Thank you for your thorough and positive review.

I normally would not have chosen this book to read since I don't typically like war type novels, but after reading your review and a few of the sample pages, I am excited to read this! I like that time period and the book seems like it is so much more than just a war story. I like that it has some humor, romance and mystery in it, as well as the characters being so well developed. Thanks for the great review. I definitely look forward to reading this book.

An excellent and expository review. I really like books set in Egypt , and this wouldn't be an exception. Am going to add it to my want to read list.
