I'm glad that you enjoyed the book. Your review was very eloquent, but since you didn't give very many details about the actual book, I'm not sure if it would pique my interest or not.

Your review of the book is fair but it doesn't give me enough reasons to want to read the book. At least a mention of one or two exciting moments in the book would have sufficed

Thank for the review. The part about the characterization peaked my interest since the book I have just finished was lacking that element. I'm not sure if I will be reading this one without reading the first book in the series.

While I like books with diverse characterisation, I'm not a massive fan of historical fiction so I think I'll give this one a pass.

The book looks like a story of a war veteran seeking for adventure.

Historical fiction is not normally my genre of choice, but this one sounds particularly good. It’s great when an author is able to strike a good balance between strong writing and well-developed characters. Thanks for your review!

I don't care for much historical fiction, especially when you add in political elements. I am having a hard time determining what exactly this book is about. I'm not particularly drawn to read it.

I am not a historical fiction fan, but this book sounds full of emotion and adventure, I am going to read the trilogy as soon as possible. Thanks for your review! I already found a place for this book on my shelves.

I sometimes find funny when writers include anachronisms in their work. I think they sometimes do it on purpose, other times they just do it unconsciously. Anyways, I'm curious about what inconsistencies this writer overlooked... or deliberately included.
