A book that captures complex historical events using facts and fiction sounds like a great read. I am definitely adding it to my to-read list. Thanks for the informative review.

I have just started writing my first review of a book for this service. Since my book is about contemporary Jewish life, I was attracted to the title of this book. You are an incredible writer and I enjoyed reading your review. I also prefer the genre of historical fiction and your ability to summarize that tome in a few paragraphs encouraged me to think about buying it! Well done. :ugeek2:

I'm a huge fan of the historical fiction genre. The fact that the author was able to create a complete society in a believable manner makes my desire to read this book that much stronger!

This book reminds of me of my favorite movie, Kingdom of Heaven, starring Orlando Bloom and Eva Green. I am always a fan of crusades, not because of bloodlust and christianity, but because I am amazed of the loyalty brought by the people to their king. I would surely love to read the trilogy series of this book by Helena P. Schrader. Kudos to the author!
