A feel good, do good, family story about a seventy-two year old woman who has to deal with the loss of her husband. She turns to her father and asks how he dealt with the loss of her mother. This is just so sad to me. But apparently the book comes out good in the end. :)

I'm not sure if this is the book for me. While I think the Great Depression would be interesting to read about, I'm not really into reading books that are overtly based on faith.

The review sounds good, with the obvious effort the author put in creating those characters, makes me want to read the book. But it also seems to be the kind of book that has little humour in it. Not really my type.

From the reviewer's point of view, It maybe a good read since it is dealing with family values and a way for someone to let go of the people they love who have died. Got my copy and will also would love to give a review after reading this piece. Thank.

This is a good book to show us the values of our great-grandparents. this books will show will teach us to ask ourselves, how far will i go for my family and all those i love. sometimes we have to leave our selves behind so others wont be in distress even if it cost a bit of our happiness.
