That's a really good sign - that you can't pick a favorite character. It sounds like this author is skilled at writing good characters as well as a compelling mystery/romance storyline. Thanks!

I love the way you describe the plot in this review. I get a taste of the characters and their motivations and the overall theme of the novel. This is a brilliant review!

I'm looking forward to reading this...looks like a perfect blend of romance and mystery with a touch of humor. I wonder if it goes into detail about what happened to him in the desert?

I love thrillers, but romance not so much. It still sounds like the romance is pretty light and the book is more plot heavy so I might give it a try. Thanks for the review.

This looks like an interesting novel on second chances when Brandi comes quite by chance in Cody's life. Cody finds himself torn between how much he can let Brandi into his past life. Thanks for the wonderful review.

Thriller mixed with romance and inner conflicts looks interesting to read, with added information regarding the lack of explicit intimate scenes, which means this book is for everyone. It is a welcome break from the eroticism going around in all kinds of books. Not that I am complaining mind you. Congrats!

Thanks for the review! I've been meaning to pick up a romance novel and this one seems like something I would enjoy. Love that it's two books and not just one. Seems to check all the boxes for my next summer read!

At first glance, I didn't think that this book would interest me. I enjoy action, and I enjoy romance, but I was on the fence about this book. A dampener for me was when the author calls the two characters "a couple" so quickly in the blurb. It sounded like the author was trying to rush things since it sounded like they had just met. I think that I will give this book a few chapters to see if it piques my interest. It has some interesting aspects to it, so I'm curious to see where this book goes.

I like the idea of forgiveness centred around this novel. Indeed at some point in love, mistakes are made and in the end we're bound to ask for and give forgiveness.

This sounds like an interesting mix between an exciting thriller and a heartwarming romance. Thanks for the recommendation!

This book brings to mind one of my favorite series by Dee Henderson, sounds like this could be similar. I look forward to reading this series after your wonderful review. I love a good, clean read about faith and love.

It's always a good sign if you like all of the characters so much that it's difficult to select a favorite one.
