The Royal Secret has a such interesting plot. I like how the author connected the rule of Elizabeth I to modern day. Seems like a refreshing perspective on a period vastly covered in non-fiction and fiction books. What a pity that the modern characters go on a tangent and the plot is confusing at times. Thanks for the review.

The book looks very intriguing from your review, but the mention about the "rambling tangents" makes it seem like it's a little too confusing for my style.
Enlightening review, though!

This looks like an interesting read but I hope the confusing narration doesn’t detract from the enjoyment of the novel. I enjoy royal mysteries. I will check this one out.

Have never really been a great fan of historical fiction. However, this book seems to have an intriguing plot. Will definitely love to try it out.
