Harry loses his best friend, Drew to World War I, and also loses his foster father, Mr Brympton while away. Even Harry himself got wounded. And then we have the multitude of deaths and destruction brought by the war. I wish humanity learns an important lesson from this.
Thank you very much! I hope so too.
You are welcome. My first review was published recently. I wish you could help me become a better reviewer by going through it and drop some notes on its quality. Thank you.

What an intriguing read! With so much loss in his life, I can see why Harry would be interested in contacting the other side. Thank you for your engaging review and recommendation.

I mostly appreciate well-developed characters. From your review, the author must have invested in building some characters. I relish historical fiction novel, and this one piqued my interest.

Going by your review, it's obvious you had a good time reading this book. I particularly like how you gave detail of the major characters in the book. Honestly, I won't hesitate to pick this book once I have the opportunity to do so. Great review!

What a detailed review! I like the fact that it combines historical and scientific elements. I can even understand that part about trying to build a machine to contact dead people, because I read a lot of fantasy books. Thank you for your recommendation!

Losing everyone around you might be very devasting. My heart went out for young Harry, as nobody deserve that. This is such a gripping and we'll written review. Thank you for taking your time to review this, I'll definitely indulge in it should I get afforded a chance to.
