The journal part got me, there is nothing more interesting 🤭. I'm curious to see what they find in the journal and what impact it has on them but especially Ben. As I don't know the history about the Quebec Bridge, I'm intrigued to find out more. Thanks for a detailed review.

This sounds like a wonderful example of historical fiction, tying historical facts into the engaging story of Ben and Esther's developing friendship. Great review and congratulations to the author for attaining BOTD honors.

I enjoyed reading your review. Thank you for not telling so much that I know the end. Including how the story was narrated was a pleasant touch. I like it when the characters tell the story from their point of view.

I had never heard of the Quebec Bridge disaster; it seems like an informative read. Because of the cover, I never would have imagined that it was a romance. Esther and Ben's story seems funny; I hope to read this book at some point. Thanks for the review.

I haven’t heard about the Quebec bridge event! This book sounds like it’s great for engineering students who love historical fiction novels.

I appreciate novels like this that explore relationships in depth, which is what this seems to be according to your review on the book. I also see how enthusiastic you are about it, so I think I might have to read this one :)

I eagerly anticipate uncovering the connection between the bridge and the characters Ben and Esther in this novel, as well as exploring how Ben's history may influence their interactions and any potential relationships that may develop as they collaborate on a task related to the Quebec Bridge catastrophe. Congrats on botd!

This isnt normally a book I'd read. However your review makes it sound very exciting. Im curious about how Ben and Esther's relationship will be able to handle the initial strain.
Ill have to look more into the Quebec Bridge disaster too.

Esther and Ben and their quest intrigued me. I wonder what revelation would be revealed in the journal and the development of the story.
