Good review. I like the messages which the author wanted to deliver to the reader. When someone wants to gain something, he has to work harder, and it's no use to live in hatred. The pirate story always brings a tension to the readers to the mystical story that follows it makes this story even more interesting.

I absolutely loved this book. There are themes of fate, love and suspense. Indeed this book proves love will always overcome hate. Brandy is my favorite character. I admired her strength and determination. The scenes, as you have mentioned were very descriptive and this increased my general enjoyment of the story.

The book seems like an amazing historical fiction and has pirates too! Though I don't enjoy such themes, I am intrigued to read this one. Thank you for a detailed review.

I like the unique choice of family for this novel, with Brandy and her pirate parents. Would like to give this book a try, just to see Brandy's fate. Congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

The eloquently written review vividly portrays the existential crisis faced by a young girl whose one choice can change her entire upcoming future. I loved the amalgam of action incorporating pirate theme with sensitive topics such as slavery and loss of parents. Sounds like a multiplex movie. I think I will really enjoy this wholesome genre

This book intrigues me. Brandy, the girl raised by Pirates. She is left with the choice to choose for herself, live her life on the land or choose to walk in her parent's legacy. Wonderful review
