I am a huge fan and ardent reader of historical fiction. I am delighted the author writes about an era that is unique and sounds interesting. I am adding the book to my shelf. Thanks for the enthralling and informative review.

As interesting as the story is, I think I would rather see it in a movie rather than read it in a book.

Egypt is known for archeological discoveries. However, I feel it was a good work performed by the author, striking a difference and similarity with the then Egypt and the current civilization.

I'm a huge fan of murder-mystery genre especially if it's Korean TV series or Bailey Sairen lol but I always consider the books too. It keeps on the edge of my seat all the time. I'll definitely read this. Thanks

I prefer history to be detached and potentially boring because that tends to keep it factual. I think this book would be great as a starter kit for Egyptian history. Hopefully it points to further reading.

The novel about the historical essence of Egypt is truly a must-read for me. But this country has one of the fiercest histories among other countries. I'm still interested.

I have read a number of historical books, but I haven't read one that centers on the history of Egypt. This book will be quite educating and insightful. Nice review.

That makes two of us. Historical fiction is just... wow! And this review has just whetted my insatiable hunger for this genre. So, thank you for such a wonderful job. This novel sounds exceptional. I look forward to learning a thing or two about ancient Egypt. Congrats on being the BOTD.

Does Lord Hani err on the side of the new king or does he stick with his family that believe things shouldn't change in Egypt? This is an intriguing story with a lot of historical truth to it. Bravo.

This book sounds like it could grab your attention with how detailed it is. It definitely paints a clear picture in your mind as if you were watching a movie if you like these kind of books. I personally don't like reading books that have a lot of history to them. I also have never really been a fan of any kind of book that is based around Egyptians. This book though did kind of get my attention because of Lord Hani actually being A decent man in power instead of.belittling everyone. Also, the crime that is intertwined in the ploy might be just what gets me to read the book.

Thank you for such a beautiful and very detailed review of this story. Wow! You have given us an in-depth look into this book, in ways that many may not have noticed. I was having trouble enjoying the sample pages and getting into the story, but now after reading your review, I may try to read more and might try to put the book on my shelves to read.
Awesome job!!
