Very brave indeed for tucker to go on to rent the house after all the warning. I can't wait to read what happens next. Great review.

This doesn't sound like a historical fiction book and I'm surprised it is. You've got me intrigued. Great job on your review!

Thanks for the review! After reading your review I'm wondering why it's considered historical fiction? It sounds very creepy at times with all of the mysterious things happening. I'll definitely have to pick this thriller up!

This is an interesting and terrifying historical fiction novel full of suspense, mystery, strange occurrences, and a protagonist determined to persevere. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and an inciteful OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @brigger_thomas on the BOTD.

Based on the summary of the story, I agree with the reviewer that the book fits C/T/M/H category. The story sounds gripping and mysterious. That said, I'll add the book to my want to read shelf. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

How will Tucker deal with the loss of his wife and other demons from his past? How is the site of the new prison related to drug trafficking? I think I might enjoy the suspense and mystery in this novel. Thanks for your review!

The book was a good read. Mason’s character was really appealing. The dark side of community is very well portrayed in the book .

I was hoping for something different in the 'Appalachian historical fiction' genre. Thank you for your review. This book looks like something I would not enjoy; I'll pass on this one.

At first I marked this as not interested in reading (I don't read histoical fiction), but after your review, I changed my mind!! This sounds so good!! Thank you!

Today's BOTD is a historical fiction novel filled with mystery, suspense, and enough twists and turns to keep you guessing through to the end. The well-developed characters and believable storyline make this a must-read. I cannot wait to add this one to my library...it sounds so good! Thank you!
