The plot doesn't appeal to me for numerous reasons so I'm going to pass. People who are into military-themed America-centric stories might like this, though.

It was quite interesting to know that the discovery of fossil fuel and its repercussions is the theme of this story.

The first thing I noticed was the book cover. I really adore it!. Eventhough I do not like books with political aspect, I felt like reading this book thanks to the great review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction mystery/thriller following a man, Sidney Krogh, who attempts to stop a plot by Russia and the Arabian governments to harm US oil interests in Alaska. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I like your review because you fully describe the book. Actually it must be good for someone who loved military, war and weapon. But for me being terrible by those wasn't enough. The war among powerful countries make us feeling and facing the serial killing. It against humanity but no one stop these happening. How terrible? :cry2:

This historical fiction novel seems to bring the theme of the usage of fossil fuel with suspense and action too. However, the fact that the author seems to disrespect some beliefs, which I found very derogatory. Congrats on BOTD though! Thanks for the informative review!

It certainly sounds interesting. After reading the review, I can see how some items might be hard to get around. Thr narrative seems a little off-putting as well. I will have to see how I feel about reading this book.

what a great review ; my attention was captured with the plots that everyone would be so much interested in knowing the end result of what later transpired among them (America, Russia and the Arabs)..I'm grabbing my copy immediately after this review ,you too can do yourself some good and grab a copy too.

Thanks for this honest and interesting review. Till date, the United States still suffers endless power tussles with other nations of the world over issues of global peace, security, economy etc. Finding a book that describes this problem is certainly thrilling. I also love the fact that the book is written by an author with military experience, although I dislike his offensive religious approach and choice of words. I would also recommend this to any reader interested in action thrillers.

An engaging Book Title, political war and conspiracy theories - All are adding more spice to the book as per the review. Caste based critics ( since it brings the essence of the reality) also adds more controversial topic branches, which will help the book to attain popularity. This legit and detailed review fascinates me to read "Hypersomnolence" by Stanley Michelsen. Thank you :D

I have said this before about historical fiction books: I am really not that big of a fan of them. This book looks extremely well written with a really captivating story line. Even though I will not be one of them, this book will/would be of interest to many other readers.

I liked the descriptions of the Alaskan winter in this book. It’s great that its so well edited. I can understand how the political issues may offend some. Thanks for a great review!
