Fossil fuel have brought great development and wealth to countries where they were discovered. However, the unbalanced wealth distribution has equally brought terrorism to the fore many countries where fuel has been discovered. I'll love to read this book to discover these special agent feared. Thanks for the review.

"Hypersomnolence" by Stanley Michelsen - The author discloses a love of Alaska as he writes about a murder that takes place only when he is asleep and dreaming. At first, it takes a while to appreciate that he is dreaming, but it is a neat angle for a murder mystery. He depends on a CPAP machine to sleep at night, I don't know the significance of that, but It will be interesting to find out. Thanks for an informative review.

Seems like an interesting read revolving around the Russians, Arabians and Americans. I think I might be more than a little confused as well, judging from the review, so I doubt if I'll be reading it much. Thanks for the review, though.

It’s great to see that this book was an enjoyable one to you. The review was well thought out and detailed. I, unfortunately do not think I will find this to be a good story, but readers who like history will enjoy this for sure. Congrats on the BOTD

Even though your review makes the book sound exciting and full of action, it's not the genre I normally read. I liked the detail you gave about the book and the author's style of writing.

Based on the title and reading the preface of this book along with this review, I think this novel has depth and nuances that is thought-provoking with a powerful message. As much as it is hard to fathom, Earth is limited in its resources, and religious dogma, greed, and unwillingness to be open-minded could be the culprit of ending life as we know it on earth. Great review!

I'm not sure that I have the attention span to tell the difference when the protagonist is awake or asleep as it sounds like there's a subtle difference. Thank you for your review.

I am curious with the title and I am looking forward to digging into this intriguing book to find out how terrorism will be stopped by the main character and how his dreams will guide him to prevent more deaths related to the fossil fuel issue.

I enjoy action thrillers and this sounds like a good one. I'm not sure about the Russian and Arab conspiracy against the US angle, though. I think it's a little exaggerated.

I had to look up the definition of the title. It's a condition of excessive sleep. It seems appropriate for the plot. Thanks for the great review!

I'm not at all into the action/thriller genre, but I found the concept of alternating conscious and subconscious storylines completely and fascinatingly unique. The author definitely has interesting perspectives in his writing. I enjoyed reading your review, thanks!

In order to tamper on the the oil industry, the Russian and Arabian governments attempts to launch an attack against the US territory. Interesting premise! Congrats on BOTD.

Excellent review! This book does look interesting and I'm adding it to my reading list. It looks like it has quite a list of exciting elements to make a captivating storyline. I'm fascinated by the title and cover as well and look forward to seeing how it all ties in with your description of the book. Hypersomnolence is a new word to me but I learned it's meaning from the Amazon book description and it does seem like a fitting title. Thank you for the review.

Wow! Excellent review. Seems like it maybe well-edited in terms of grammar, but it needs more editing in other aspects. Thank you for the review.
