This sounds very unique and creative. It reminds me of A Bridge to Terabithia. Shame about the errors and typos. I think it's quite important for children's books to be accurate to ensure they don't become confused. I'm not the intended audience, but thanks for the review!

This book starts out great and inventive! I have two kids and know how hard it can be for them to wake up for school, sometimes! The review is well written and is encouragement to grab this book and finish it. The story sounds like it will grab any reader. I will even encourage my younger child to read it!

Tom and I are already off to a great start, I love to sleep too! This seems like a very good book for young kids and I can't wait to show it to my younger brother and see what he thinks. Not sure I'll read it myself but I'm glad to know it's a good piece.

Thanks for your review! This book seems like an awesome read for young readers. I really like the lessons and themes explored within it, emphasizing the importance of imagination and creativity will surely have a positive influence on our youth. I'm curious to see how the author transforms a mundane machine graveyard into an imaginative world. I hope that Tom will be able to find acceptance in the waking world.

With themes like love having no bounds, that everyone is unique, and that things aren't always how they seem, this seems like a great addition to the annals of children's fantasy.

A nice magical children’s fantasy story in the book "Down the Monster Hole" by Carmela Tal Baron, which depicts the obstacles and opportunities that Tom encounters in his daily life. I feel that the Young readers will be happy about this book, especially for the Tom's typical character.

Beautiful review! This story already has me thinking about A Phantom Tollbooth and Where The Wild Things Are and I’m loving that so much. This’ll be a sure favorite of many young readers and beyond!

This sounds like a fun story that kids would really enjoy. I like that there are positive messages included, although I admit the switching back and forth from poetry would probably irk me a bit.

I love when a children's book is as appealing to the parents as it is to the children it's meant for. This sounds like a fun and entertaining book. Thanks for a great review.

This sounds like a creative and imaginative story! I love that the trash piles are actually different monsters in disguise. It's too bad about the errors.

The author's imagination sounds very interesting and adventurous. Tom's misunderstood life is very painful, being introduced to the secret kingdom seem to make his life more interesting.

Hopefully the author will do a second round of editing to fix the errors. In that way, down the monster hole Will deserve a perfect rating.

What kind of obstacles and opportunities did Tom encounter.
How did he come out of the puzzlement were the first question in thought . However learning that he learnt more ways of doing things like listening ,speaking etc out of the puzzlement, has partly answered my question. Not much into children fantasy thus reading this book may be a third if not fourth option. Thank you for the review.
