A family of chipmunk's story seems to be interesting.

Thank you for the great review.

A kids' book that talks about a family of chipmunks with fun plot, animated illustrations, and good themes sound interesting.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

The book sounds wonderful. Elizabeth's adventure to the Forest Edge sounds exciting as well. The religious aspect might be a problem, but as long as kids understand it, then that should be fine. Thanks for the review!

This story sounds adorable while still educational. I’m sure it would be a great read for younger readers. The illustrations alone are great! Who wouldn’t love a story about a choking family?

Your review was outstanding - thank you!! I know I say this every time, but I love when a children's book is featured as the BOTD! I teach HS, so it isn't often that I learn about the options available for young readers. This one sounds like such a delight (and how cute is the name Elizabeth Munk...love it!).

Filled with beautiful illustrations and lessons about family and nature, children, parents, and teachers will thoroughly enjoy today's BOTD. Join the Munk siblings on their adventurous gathering trip to Forest Edge and explore the world through young Elizabeth's eyes, while learning about the Least Chipmunk species. Educational, engaging, and imaginative! :-)

After reading the sample and your review I also catch a glimpse into Elizabeth’s sense of adventure. It is one that we could remember having too. For that reason it seems to be reminiscent of Beatrix Potter.
Well done on such a great review. :tiphat:

Wow, this book is super cute! It reminds me of curious children and I feel that many children and even children will be able to relate to this story. :)

This is an excellent review! :D

With its lovely illustrations, the book promises to be a visual delight! I agree that the glossary is a useful feature to help children learn and expand their vocabulary.
