I liked the way you covered the basics of storyline, character and illustrations. Between the age of the author and the complexity of the story such few mistakes in her first story is quite remarkable!

10 year old? Really? If a ten year old finds passion to write a book, then I am all for it. Amazing kid then. :)

Thanks everyone for the feedback. It's so nice that a 10-year-old is interested in writing books. I wonder if she will publish future works.

Uganda has a special place in my heart ever since I traveled with a kids choir from that country. For that reason, and it being written by a twelve year old, I would get this book. The premise of the book is not bad either.

My kids and I enjoyed this book too. I was impressed by the young author. I appreciate the themes and lessons of determination and the importance of friendship. Great review!
