The title and cover of this book are funny. I still enjoy reading children's book that have captivating illustrations and this book seems to have those. I'll add this one to my 'to read' list, but I'll be sure to wear a mask when reading it. Thanks for the review!

I don't know too many children who don't like talking or reading about "gross" things. This sounds like a book that would keep most children engaged and maybe even reading over and over again.

Thank yoh for the detailed review. I think my chikdren will probably pretend to be too cool to laugh at these gross things, but will give the game up in hysterics eventually. It sounds suitably gross and disgusting.

Thank you for the review Sigfried’s Smelly Socks! by Len Foley. Children this age who are still learning about their world and about cleanliness might have fun with the book. The subject of gross-smelling objects are certainly on children's mind as they master using the toilet and keeping themselves clean.

Agreed...a humorous, rhyming book that lots of kids will love but some adults may be too grossed out to read it to them!
The illustrations include both photos and cartoons, combining in a mish-mash of colour and fun.

Adorable, adorable, and adorable. The reviewer got me at "barrage of gross things." Sounds like the ideal book for a little brother,

This book certainly sounds adorable! I look forward to reading about Sigfried's smelly socks. I also love when the author includes unknown vocabulary for children. This is a great learning opportunity for them!

While the reviewer gave this book a 4 out of 4 I don’t think they understand children. Children love gross things and I can’t wait to read it with my nephew.

Great review and thank you for sharing. I found it to be cute and funny and loved the ending as well. I agree there are a few challenging words as you mentioned that stuck out to me as well. I had no idea what those were at the age of three to seven. It seems like it would be a great way to expand the child's vocabulary though.
