I don't have kids but I sure enjoyed reading this book. I once hide my socks as a kid so I can relate. Kudos to the author for a wonderful book!

Great review. I find the use of few big words a plus as it will add to a child's vocabulary. It would cause the child to find the meaning of the word and probably sing about it for a week! The grossness can't be that bad, right?

Do you think this book provides children to have good manners? After I read it I have second thoughts. It is really funny but I'm a little concerned about what this book teaches children to do. Perhaps I'm overreacting but I know how children sometimes copy what they see or read.

I like that the book has a lot of impressive illustrations but Sigfried's behaviors are gross.

I have to agree with you about this book is not for everyone. Children and adults who find gross things to be funny may want to read it. Thanks for the great review.

The illustrations were also one of my favorite parts of the book! They seem to be especially made to appeal to children.

I've read many reviews about this book. It looks fun, but still I'm not sure if I would read that to a child.

I thought this book was really cute and had great potential but the images were inconsistent which I found distracting.

Thanks for the review! I recently read and reviewed this book as well, and I also had to laugh at the ending. Despite all the grossness, Sigfried is a truly lovable character.
