This book sounds like a fun story for young children. I think that the author choosing to use ferrets helps this story stand out as it's an unusual pet/animal that not everyone has. It sounds like this story has a couple of shortcomings, but I think that it would still be one that even my daughter would enjoy.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting children's picture book following a ferret as he gets a new home and searches for his missing ferret friend. The use of real photographs makes this different than other children's books and although I am not the target audience of this book, it seems to be worth a second look for parents of young children. Well done.

I don't know much about ferrets but I'm sure this book would be widely appreciated by children and ferret communities worldwide.

:tiphat: I really wonder about ferrets because I haven't seen one. It is not common in our place. I am intrigued by Chubby if she will still find her friend Coco. Thanks for your honest review by putting the details of the storytelines and the flaws.

I have never had a ferret, but have always found them cute! I don't have any children in my life though, so I don't think I am the target audience for this one. Great review!

This sounds like an interesting children’s book that will capture and keep young children attention with its illustrations. It will be good book to use to introduce ferrets to my goddaughter. Thanks for the review.

This sounds like a cute book. I never had a ferret myself, but some of my childhood friends did. They’re really cute.

Having no errors is definitely a huge plus! However, I hope that the author takes your suggestions and fleshes out the plot properly. Thanks for the insightful review.

I enjoyed the details you included in this review. I aagree that ferrets are a cute idea for a children's book. It's too bad the author didn't expand on the plot in certain areas that you noticed. Thanks for a great review!

This was a nice review. The sample given was so short that it was hard to see what sort of story it was going to be.
I have no one to read children's books to, nor am I interested in reading kids' books. And I especially don't like ferrets.
However, from the review, it might be a good little book with some more work on developing the story.

I love the fact that this book is about a ferret! The use of pictures really do enhance the reading process as they allow the reader to visualize the events and the characters. This will also ensure the story has the reader's full attention. I am also curious to know if the ferret will find his friend.

Already I have learnt something of the weasel. I didn't know they sleep during the day. So can one really make it a pet? I am curious. Nice review.

I like the idea of having a ferret as a main character. I think kids, as well as adults, can learn more about them throughout this story
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.
