Although it is a simple story of animals living in a farm, it will leave a moral lesson not just for the kids but also to anyone who will be able to read it. And that's the essence of every story, the moral lesson. Whether happy ending or not.

I thought the book was very sweet and thoughtful they took care of a kitten they found and gave it a home. I believe this story teaches us a lot about carrying for animals. :) .

A typical children's book for animal lovers.Kids simply adore kittens and bunnies as pets. This book has so many life's lessons, where adults and children can relate to experiences in their own lives. The fact that the animals are personified brings out the feelings of caring, compassion, concern, a tinge of jealousy and even worried about the position the newcomer to the family will hold as well as becoming the favourite.
The mothers reading this book will understand how a sibling must feel when the new baby arrives. The siblings will stick together because they need each other to learn about acceptance and rejection, two mixed feelings which will have to be dealt with for a period of time. Kailey and Sammy have to remain good friends until the decision is made to welcome the new arrival into the home. The characteristics of these two pets can also be seen in humans.
I would give this book 3 out of 4,as simple lessons at an early age can be explained to the kids.

In my opinion.. the term "Kids" is gone.
Nowadays kids look like kids in shape but act like very mature adults.

They need some kind of treatment unlike the kids of the past.
