Sounds like a really good adventure about not just the existence of Big Foot, but also friendship and where one comes from. I'd be interested to see if they ever do find a Big Foot.

This review has made me want to read this book and I'm old! Enough imagination to make it interesting, adventure to bring excitement, and mystery to make it fun! Well written without giving away the story! Thank you!!

I loved the sample, and this review confirms my hunch I will love the whole book! It's very topical, with the current debate over "kill or document" among cryptid hunters.

I appreciate the warning about the crime, and will be looking for that and evaluating the author's positioning and intent. Thanks for letting me know!

This review did a good job of hooking me without spoiling. I'm glad to have read it.
I've always loved cryptids!
One of my favorite series is about a family who helps keep all the cryptids a secret.

I'm not always the biggest fan of books about mythological creatures, but I must say your great review made this one sound cute and interesting!

The existence of Bigfoot is a great topic for a book, and it sounds like this one can be enjoyed by the whole family. I love the name Onion Weed for a small town and am curious what all the new sightings and strange occurrences are. Great review.

Thanks for the review. Although the genre is along the line of a coming of age book for young adults, am interested in reading this one. The storyline is intriguing and the character description seems well- developed which makes them relatable. I am interested in the human nature, friendship, and respect themes that was described. Seems like it could be a good read if the author's writing style will hold my interest until the second half when the action picks up. Curious to see what JT discovers about himself in his quest to find Bigfoot.

I like how this book has a nice style to it, and that it has many POVs. Nice to hear that it's also a tale of friendships and legends. Great review.

I’m interested in reading more about a Bigfoot who is portrayed as laidback and not dangerous. Thanks for the review!

Do you think the author is saving the arrest of the character who got away with the crime for the sequel? That could build a sense that the criminal got away so then the criminal gets careless and another character could find away to get the criminal arrested?

I was sort of surprised by the setting - I associate Tennessee and the states around it with Skunk Ape, which is perceived as a rougher and smellier cousin of Sasquatch, does the author mention Skunk Ape at all?

I find this book interesting. If Bigfoot is real, then maybe some of the other legends are true as well. I wonder which character committed a serious crime? Maybe the author wants to send a different message to children if he/she had gotten away with it? Just speculating, but thank you for your review!
