Sounds like an adorable tale! My dogs have always acted as if they were humans so definitely no surprise here. I'm sure little ones will grin from ear to ear listening to this tale. Thank you so much for your insightful and honest review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

The cover illustration certainly matches the title. The dog actually hogs space to the detriment of its family. So I'm curious about your statement, “the family trained him to be kind by showing him love and affection”. Maybe they overdid it! 😅

 The dog Cooper is one of a kind. I remember when I was young we used to have dogs at home. I didn't feel like they considered themselves dogs either. I think animal cruelty can be the cause dogs and cats fear humans. Great book and a nice review. Congrats to the author.

Thanks for this review. I was wondering if Cooper was a human being that had been turned into a dog.

I'm not a kid but I love the book already and this is because I love dogs. However, this is a seemingly funny story kids will enjoy. Congrats on BOTD!

This could be a fun and useful way to teach children about kindness in general and especially kindness to animals. Cooper sounds like my kind of dog!

This is a story that would catch my younger cousin's attention. She would like to hear about a dog that thinks behaving like one is beneath him. Thanks for the review.

This children's book about the family dog sounds like a lot of fun. My kids could relate as our dog is a lot like Cooper. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

The dog's attitude seems interesting. This book is really a hilarious one and would prove to be a good children's read or even a young adult adventure read. Wonderful review!

Great review! I was bummed at the fact that the story is short but, I still would be interested in reading the book as I want to own a dog of my own :D :D

A dog that feels like a human because it was raised by a human family?? That's almost every dog. Cooper sounds like an interesting dog.
