This is quite adventurous. I believe the author discribed the scenes so well, just by reading the review, I'm vividly shifted. This is a great review. Thank you.

I like the fact that in 28 pages the vocabulary was straightforward, and some of the prose exhibited rhyming. Seems like a book I'd be glad to read to my little cousins! Your review was delightful to read! Thank you for an impressive work!

I was mesmerized by the sweet cover too! All of the animal characters are so happy (and conscientious) throughout their woodland adventure. This story was clearly written and illustrated by a lovely and creative duo. Super glad you stopped by for a campfire chat! :fire:

Aww, thanks!! I just loved seeing them in their little bandanas, traipsing through the forest, spotting birds, and pitching tents. It was an adorable story.

Thanks so much! It was a great children’s book for sure. Simple vocabulary that’s both interactive and rhyming? Now that’s an attribute I’ve really come to appreciate. Happy you stopped by to read and leave a comment; hope you have a lovely week! :book:

Your review is so thorough--I really like that you took the time to note equal gender representation among the characters! That has been problem in the past with many picture books.

I like the bonus “FACTS” section. The information about the animals’ individual footprints and tracks is a great addition!
Lovely review.

Thank you!! And I really appreciate you mentioning that aspect. I always find myself looking for those sorts of subtle representations now, especially in illustrated children’s books. This one definitely proves that bandanas and flowers tucked behind an ear can look good on anyone who is ready to go nature exploring! :star: Appreciate you stopping by.
