This sounds incredible. It is always been parents caring about their children. So, it is great to see little Nene looking for ways to keep her mom occupied. Thanks for the review.

What a lovely storyline. This will eventually teach the children how to give back the love and care being given to them by their parent. Thanks for this review.

This is a great review because you have mentioned the main plot of the book without spoiling it, but you also have included your opinion on the book. Great work!

I love the premise of the story. I can relate completely as I have been a stay-at-home-mom for the past 8 years. When my youngest went off to kindergarten, he had similar questions as to what I would do. I love that this book is adorned with beautiful illustrations to support the charming story. Nene sounds like a caring little person! Thanks for the great review!

When I was young, I assumed my mother waited around for me to get out of school. I didn't give it much thought. If I had, I would have realized that she must have been taking care of my two younger siblings along with everything that magically happened around the house when I wasn't home. I'm sure she would have liked to go to a mama daycare instead.

The idea of mama's daycare is a fun way to teach kids that mamas do need rest and encourage children to take care of them. Hopefully... =)

This is a very cute story about a kid sending mom to daycare so that she can finally take care of fo herself. Don't we all want that?
I think this is more written for adults than for kids, but it is thought-provoking. nice work.

Mama's daycare was not what I expected it to be based on the title. If only we had one where I lived! The story is so sweet, and Nene is a lovely, emotionally intelligent young girl. I agree about the illustrations, too! Congratulations on the successful review!

What I liked best about the book, as pointed out in the review, is the point of view. I had never thought about the worries of young children about their loved ones, mothers first.
A nice book. There is the issue of the father not being present. For sure, there are many single-parent families where the father is not present anyway. So probably the book is best adequate to them, avoiding difficult questions about the father when he is not in the picture.
Great review, thank you!

Thanks for this review. It looks like this might be a good book to share with my little one that will be starting Kindergarten next fall. We've been home together for the past year, so it may introduce the opportunity to discuss what concerns he might have.
Your review mentioned the father isn't included. As you said, I don't imagine this would detract from the story. It sounds like their typical day is spent in one another's company, and Nene's current worry concerns her mom. Throwing in mention of a father or other parental figure wouldn't really add to the story.

This sounds like a really sweet book. I love that it is from the child's point of view and that she is so concerned about her mother. Wish my kids were still small and we could enjoy this book together. Will have to wait for grandchildren!
