My grief, really young children are so adorable, and this sounds like a charming story. Even now, my youngest - 25 years old now - wonders how I got along until she came along, ha ha ha ha! I'm intrigued to see how Nene plans to help her mom spend her child-free time.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting short children's book. While I am not the target audience, this seems like it would be worth a second look for parents with young children. Well done.

This would be a great story for any child heading off to school. With the child of a single parent, it would be understandable for the child to worry about what their parent would do when they weren't there to take care of them. And the pictures would be very helpful for a child to follow the story. However, I wish the print had been just a little bigger.

This book seems to be a very good book for children. The relationship of Nene and her mother seems endearing. Congrats on BOTD!

I love the message of this book - to "emphasizes the importance of children also caring about their parents." Also, it's engaging the idea of a daycare for moms, where they could benefit of a massage, or gym, or any other relaxing activities.

I am sure my mother would have enjoyed being in a mother’s daycare. I like the concept that the book was narrated from Nene’s point of view. It reinforces the fact that children also do care about their parents as much as the parents care about their children. Nice review!

Mama's Daycare by Ngozi Edema is a children's book. Little Nene's thought about her mother is very sweet. I would love to read it. Congratulations on #botd.

I'm a sucker for a children's book! This one is near and dear to my heart, because my granddaughter will be starting kindergarten next fall and this storyline is something she may think about as the day gets closer. And who wouldn't love a mommy daycare! So cute!

This book sounds endearing. The fact that it highlights the importance of taking care of parents is something unique about it. Based on the cover page, I suppose illustrations are quite eye catching too. Thank you for the amazing review.

Sounds like an appealing story for children and elementary readers. Eye-catching illustrations that are appropriate for the events in the story gives the book an added bonus. I will consider the book. Awesome review.

It's cute how much the little girl thinks about her momma and worries what she will do while shes gone! I cant help but think, though, that a 5 year old would say there mom was go to the gym or read a book while they re gone. Their imaginations are a lot crazier than that! Haha

The father is never mentioned. From the looks of it, the mother is depicted as entirely preoccupied with Nene, nothing to do like a job, going to work or something. We could just infer that they are well provided, with a working husband, or a monthly allowance. I love the satirical humor, with the child being concerned with her mom when left alone. She's thinking of a method such that her mom won't be out of her sight. Nice review.
