This sounds like an ambitious but engaging book - complete with beautiful illustrations. I feel like I know Piper already. Thank you for an excellent review.

After seeing the book cover, I was shocked by its content. So many real, traumatizing issues presented in this story! I am sorry for the lack of character development. There is always place for improvement, which is a great thing. Great review!

At a young age, Piper Walker had to handle the loss of her mother from breast cancer.
During her final year in high school, she was responsible for her smaller brother Charlie and coped with her alcoholic Dad at home.
She had her support group with best friend Lisa and her Elderly neighbor Miss Esther.

"Prophase" by M. Street explained more on how Piper's relationship with her boyfriend, Chris ended abruptly but she later found real love, helped to save her friends from a car crash, plans for higher-level Education and the amazing experience of change.

I loved what I read in the sample on Amazon. But after reading the review, I’m doubtful about getting the book to continue reading. Thanks for the honest review.

Oh this sounds like it has a fascinating premise, although it is a pity about the lack of detail for certain aspects. Thanks for the review!

Piper will have much more to handle now that she is discovering her hidden powers. The sample was intriguing and I liked your description of Piper's dilemma. Great review. Thanks.

In general I am not a fan of science fiction or fantasy books but this one seems completely captivating. After reading the sample and then the review I am definitely going to read this BOTD.

I'm finding out recently that I'm not as much a fan of fantasy as I thought. Still, I like the premise of this book. I hope the author maintains the same level of tension after Piper is awakened. Thanks for the review!

This sounds like a new take on a familiar theme. Still, I enjoy coming of age novels, especially when they are in the fantasy genre. I may have to give this one a look. Thanks for the great review!

Coming of age novels are always interesting, and this one sounds great, with a lead character who is dealing with terrible loss as she discovers that she possesses mysterious powers. I can't wait to read it; thanks for the fine review.

Mitchell Street has created a wonderful coming-of-age story that is sure to delight all readers. This action-adventure book sounds refreshing and I'm definitely adding it to my list. Smashing review by the way.

I'm not normally a fan of coming of age books however, the sci-fi element does have me intrigued. Also, the way you have described Piper, with her likability and relatability in her circumstances, is pulling me into reading this novel. Thank you for your review, I will add this to my shelf.
