Piper seems like an interesting and mature character. The plot also sounds interesting, and I wonder what Piper's unfulfilled destiny is. I, however, don't like when there are unresolved issues in books, so I'm a bit on the fence about this book for now.

Lovely cover and a pleasant intro to this story. I'll give this book a try to know if I'll be captivated by this new world that Piper discovers.

this sounds interesting, though it's a sad tale for Piper losing her mother, but I'm excited about her courage to move on and she later find happiness. Congrats..

A coming-of-age fantasy revolving around a girl with unique powers sounds intriguing. Sounds like a great tale with a unique heroine and cool world-building to boot. In addition, a world full of different types of beings and magic sounds great. I like the fact that Piper isn't the typical heroine (aka the most beautiful or most popular girl). And to think she discovers her powers after a near-death experience! A great job on the review!

"Prophase: A Present Tale" is a story of endurance and flexibility despite the difficulty. Street's prose is both evocative and atmospheric, painting a vivid portrait of a world in turmoil.

There is a life cycle in this narrative. In the same manner that humans encounter numerous problems throughout their lives, you have provided answers. Compared to an old-story novel, it is more engaging.
