What are your views on Nick and his character?

He could have tried more in the marriage but then again what Amy did was... shocking to say the least. I think he definitely has his flaws but he is overall a decent guy.

Too relaxed in the relationship. He stopped putting in effort towards making the marriage work and as a result, neglected Amy.

I don't think Nick was a great guy. However, the way Amy wrote about him was way worse than he actually was. I don't think he deserved what happened to him but I also think he makes some really stupid decisions in the book.

I didn't warm to him a lot but I preferred the character in the movie, I think he was more likeable. Amy was nice but possibly a little less interesting.
