I enjoyed the Maze Runner series, the redwall abby series and Maniac McGee!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” HST

Harry Potter series is my favourite. Percy Jackson series, divergent series, etc... All these are awesome with a mixture of different genres.

Would you say all the books in the series are good or just the first?

Harry Potter... After all this time? Always.

I began reading the series at age 6 (with help from my parents, of course) and haven't stopped re-reading them since. They definitely shaped me as a person from a young age.

I have always enjoyed books and I thought I would share some of my favorites!
I have really enjoyed The Mortal Instruments, by Cassandra Clare, the Vampire Academy series, by Richelle Mead, and The Burning Sky, by Sherry Thomas.

All! Honestly, the story flows consistently through all the books that it is hard for me to differentiate between the individual books (The Kill Order does revolve around a different set of people but it was a good break between the other books)

That's great to hear!! Sometimes the first book is incredible and the rest are so-so so I'm really glad this isn't the case! I'm putting this near the top of my TBR pile thank you

I love the Harry Potter series too! I read them all for a week and it was the most unforgettable world I've been to. Also, the Hunger Games, The Selection, Vampire Academy, Red Queen, Divergent. All these series shaped my coming of age.

Oh, Vampire Academy! I rarely see it mentioned in YA book compilations nowadays, but I loved it so so much back when I read it.

My absolute favorite YA book ever is titled Rebel of the Sands. I believe it was a best seller for a while, but it's phenomenal. I reread about once every six months, this last time I reread it after I finished taking the MCAT.

Oh gosh, The Maze Runner series. My all time favorite book series. That's actually the series that got me into reading. My teacher read the book so well and gave every character their own voice, and the story was easily able to form in my mind. So good, glad to see others also enjoyed it!
